With the speeding up of the Chinese industrialization process, energy has become one of the key factors effected the process. For more coal and less oil in China, the coal mining has received unprecedented attention.The paper mainly introduces the widely used double drum shearer. For the traditional drum height adjustment system takes some disadvantages such as low level of automation, less speed control and bad reliability. Combining with the electro-hydraulic proportion control technology paper analyze the height adjust system of MG300-W double-drum shearer and come up with the new model of shearer drum valve control system adopts the electrohy draulic proportional direction valve instead of the original electromagnetic reversing valve.Study the shearer drum valve control height adjustment cylinder open loop co ntrol system and cylinder valve control cylinder PID closed loop control system. By t he use of the AMEsim simulation software analysis and simulate the two speed reg ulating performance system has realized the coal winning machine by high cylinder sp eed control. Through the comparison the simulation results of opened and closed loo p get the control characteristics of the closed-loop system is better than the open loo p control system and make up the foundation for shearer drum speed regulation.Analysis the relationship of rocker corner and the cylinder height based on the motion process of shearer drum system. Put forward using the displacement sensor t o detect the piston rod displacement through a certain function relation the signal tra nsformed into real-time height of the drum. Through the valve controlling heighten cylinder loop PID system control the up and down speed of tumbling cylinder.Simulate and analysis angular displacement sensor of valve-controlled hydrauli c cylinder closed loop control system through union emulation technology. The heig ht adjusting mechanism model is established with the ADAMS, and set the roller lo ad at the same time. Build up the system model in the AMEsim, through the interacti ve simulation process verify the performance characteristics of the closed-loop sy stem and control the speed of cylinder.For compacted machine body and limited inside installation space of coal win ning machine, the subject adopts integrated HMB integrated treatment of the shea rer drum height adjustment system decreases roller hydraulic system space dema nd. Paper based on the hydraulic HMB design principles and3d design principle re alize the visualization of hydraulic HMB design, and using the finite element analysi s software analysis the optimization of hydraulic integrated HMB, and the validatio n for hydraulic integrated HMB performance meet the requirements avoiding the unne cessary waste of resources and reducing the pressure loss in hydraulic system and th e oil leakage at the same time.
