Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) is a sort of modified productions of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which is good at resistance to corrosion, prevention of age hardening, good capability in electricity, and widely applied in industry of plastic and material.CPVC production plant process is relatively complex, including ingredients, chlorination, deacidification, neutralization, drying and hydrochloric acid recycling multiple units.It need to use batch control, recipe control and other means to ensure the normal operation of the production process, product quality qualified and diverse product range. Therefore, the automatic control system has become CPVC production facilities to ensure safe, stable, long-cycle and an important guarantee for optimal operation, and explore CPVC production process automatic control system has important practical value.In this thesis, using the CPVC production plant of Shanghai Chlor-Alkali Chemical Co., Ltd.,by an advanced method called "aqueous suspension process" as engineering objects, analyze the CPVC process, establish automatic control system of CPVC production plant, and discuss WebField ECS-100DCS system for CPVC device application with the control requirements, system planning, hardware configuration and software configuration aspects,the automatic control system of CPVC plant make use of WebField ECS-100DCS as the hardware platform, AdvanTrol-Pro configuration software as the monitoring software platform, the controllers, power modules, communication links and important I/O cards are selected redundant configuration in the system. By the analysis process and the basis of user needs, it is prepared for CPVC process control procedures, and developed the graphical human-machine interface (HMI) to achieve communication with field instruments, which constitute a powerful, high reliability, openness well automatic control system.This thesis elaborated CPVC production process automatic control system has been put into use by advanced features, high reliability, stable operation, friendly interface, thus ensuring the regular and stable operation of the CPVC production plant.
