Metal phthalocyanine compounds has a macrocyclic π-electron conjugated system. Phthalocyanine compounds was found in1907. In the past one hundred years, phthalocyanine compounds has been mainly used as dyes and pigments because of its low production cost, acid resistance, alkali resistance, corrosion resistance, high tinting strength and excellent stability. Today it has been used in all kinds of high-tech fields.Metal phthalocyanine compounds’ excellent optical, electrical and other properties has made it be used for superconducting materials, liquid crystal display materials, nonlinear materials, efficient catalytic materials, solar cells and other advanced technologies, besides, it has good application prospects. However, phthalocyanine has low solubility and its special configurations are difficult to synthesis which limit its research and application to a large extent.In this paper, a variety of metal phthalocyanine derivatives which has good solubility and special properties were synthesized. Phthalimide was used as an initial material to synthesize four amino zinc phthalocyanine, It can be dissolved well in DMF. The next phase, amino zinc phthalocyanine was modified by salt reaction. The reactants include alkyl bromide, aliphatic carboxylic acid and sulfonic acid.The structures of phthalocyanine derivatives were investigated by FT-IR spectroscopy,1H-NMR spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction and Uv-vis spectrophotometer. The thermal properties of phthalocyanine derivatives were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry and thermogravimetry.The electrical performance of phthalocyanine derivatives were investigated by dielectric tester and conductivity tester. The liquid crystal texture of phthalocyanine derivatives were investigated by polarizing optical microscopy The results showed that the phthalocyanine derivatives have good electrical properties as well as good polarity. In this paper, the research not only has important theoretical significance, but also provides a theoretical basis and the necessary technical support for the further study of phthalocyanine derivatives.
