To solve the clinical application bottleneck of phthalocyanines, a series of ionic phthalocyanines is designed and synthesized. In this thesis, the influence of surroundings and structure to the photodynamic property of above phthalocyanines were studied. The main research conclusions are as follows:(1) Two new hydrophobic phthalocyanines, tertiary amine aniline phthalocyanine (TANPc) and tertiary amine benzylamine phthalocyanine (TABNPc), were synthesized. And their ionic phthalocyanines, quaternized ammonium aniline phthalocyanine (QANPc) and quaternized ammonium benzylamine phthalocyanine (QABNPc) were synthesized by quaternizing with iodomethaneand. Furthermore, the quaternized ammonium sulfonate aniline phthalocyanine (QASNPc) has been synthesized with the1,3-propanesulfonate and TANPc. All of the structures have been confirmed by UV-Vis spectra, IR spectra and1H-NMR.(2) All of the result phthalocyanines can solve the clinical application bottleneck of phthalocyanines, which can both dissolve in aqueous and lipid solutions.(3) The fluorescence spectra of all phthalocyanines are similar and they are mirror images with their absorption spectra and their stock shifts were about10nm.(4) All the phthalocyanines synthesized are stabled in water and can effectively avoid the photo-induced destruction.(5) All the phthalocyanines synthesized have stronger fluorescence intensity, higher fluorescence quantum yields and singlet oxygen quantum yields, longer fluorescence lives and better activity for killing the cancer cells. Compared with the hydrophobic phthalocyanines, all of above properties of quaternized phthalocyanines were better. But compared with the cationic phthalocyanines, the activities of the amphiphilic phthalocyanine were reduced.(6) The aggregation properties and photodynamic activities of the ionic phthalocyanines are affected by different ionic natures of the surfactants. The non-ionic surfactants can decrease the degree of aggregation of all kinds of phthalocyanines. The cationic phthalocyanines are aggregated seriously by the cationic surfactants and disaggregated by the anionic surfactants. The ability of photosensitivity is in accordance with the monomer of phthalocyanines.
