High salt wastewater is difficult in the field of wastewater treatment, especially the high chlorine wastewater. Generally when the chlorine content reached10000mg/L, biochemical treatment effect will be greatly reduced, when the chlorine content is more than20000mg/L, general microbial will lose activity, because of the high osmotic pressure in result of high salinity not only affect the microbial survival, and chlorine also has some toxicity to microorganisms. As a new desalination technology, electrosorption technology has many advantages. This paper had studied the influence factors of electrosorption technology, a new type of carbon composite material and its desalination effect when used in electrosorption device. The results show that the factors affecting adsorption technology mainly include voltage, plate spacing, residence time and initial concentrations of salt. The electrosorption device had optimal desalination effect when the voltage is1.6V, retention time is60min and the plate spacing is1cm. And the amount of electrodes could be adjusted according to the salt content of wastewater in actual application. The production conditions of new type of carbon composite material, graphite and activated carbon fiber electrode, had a certain influence to its desalination effect. The graphite and activated carbon fiber electrode had optimal performance when the quality ratio of the electrode materials and the adhesive is4:1, the quality ratio of the graphite and activated carbon fiber is3:2, carbonized at850℃for60min. The electrode could be modified with HNO3or KOH, and the results show that the electrode modified with KOH for3h had best desalination effect. The graphite and activated carbon fiber electrode was used to treatment the black liquor of refined cotton and sodium copper chlorophyll wastewater to investigate its desalination effect. When the electrode was used to treat the black liquor of refined cotton after acid treatment, the removal rate of conductivity and CODCr reached58.84% and75.62%while8pair of electrodes were used. And when the electrode was used to treat the sodium copper chlorophyll wastewater. the removal rate of conductivity and CODCr reached more than50%and13.5%while6-8pair of electrodes were used.
