The research of the influence on soil quality to plant natural recovery process has importantscientific value. This paper uses Fuxin Haizhou mining dump as the research area, using the methodof field investigation combined with soil analysis, to study plants feature in the natural recovery ofdump slope, and to analyze the dynamic change of the soil physical properties, chemical propertiesand enzyme activity;Choosing appropriate index of soil based on the analysis of relevance, sensitivity and principal component; The research is to provide theoretical basis for ecologicalconstruction of Fuxin dump. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Characteristic of natural vegetation restoration process:There are27kinds of plantsappeared in the research area, including11families and23genera, shadow slope and sunny slopeare mainly composed of perennial vegetation and annual vegetation respectively.(2)Response of soil physical characteristic to slope aspect and position:Soil moisture content, field capacity, water stability aggregate more than0.25mm all could increase along with the declineof slope, while the soil bulk density present the opposite rule.Physical properties of the shadowslope are better than the sunny slope in all different slope aspect.(3)Response of soil chemical characteristic to slope aspect and position:Soil organic mattercould increase with the decline of slope both in shadow and sunny slope, The content of available P,alkali-hydro nitrogen content in shadow and sunny slope surface show different properties, in theshade slope show downhill> mesoslope> upslope,in the sunny slope show mesoslope> downhill>upslope, but mainly converged on the mid-lower archives; At the same time the soil nutrient ofshadow are more than sunny slope in the same slope.(4)Response of soil microbial characteristic to slope aspect and position:The content ofurease, alkaline phosphatase increases with the decline of slope position. There have little differencebetween sucrose enzyme and hydrogen peroxide enzyme in the same slope surface; In differentslope aspect, the content of these four kinds enzyme in shadow slope are much more than sunnyslope.(5)Soil quality evaluation:Soil available P, sucrase, urease, alkaline phosphatase achievehigh sensitivity. Field capacity, water stability aggregate more than0.25mm, soil moisture contentand organic matter achieve moderate sensitivity. Based on the analysis of relevance, sensitivity and principal component, soil urease and sucrase screened out can be used as soil quality evaluationindex.
