Environmental Impact Research Of Straw-paper Making Based On Life Cycle Assessment

Life cycle assessment is one effective environmental management tool that involves the full life cycle of the whole process of the product system. The government, companies and community groups and so on has started to pay attention to its development and study.Regarding to the existing problems of the total amount of the straw resources, the state of the straw utilization and the status of straw pulping, this article would like to take Tralin Paper Industry as an example. According to the framework of the life cycle assessment, this article would quantify the input and output of the making process of straw-paper and identify that which process has the greatest impact on the environment and try to find the opportunity to improve the environment.Firstly, this article mainly introduces the basic idea and operation steps of the life cycle assessment, and finds the shortage of the life cycle assessment, and at the same time, the article puts forward some practical suggestions. Then, the second part is about the present situation of paper industry both in China and in Shandong Province and the research about the pollution control condition in Shandong Province, including the data analysis and report about the research. Thirdly, it talks about the condition of the comprehensive utilization of Chinese straw resources and includes the research of the basic structure and all the pollutions it causes. The final point is to apply the Ebalance software to the environmental impact assessment of Tranlin Paper in Liaocheng City, and the article selects the main research objects in the culture paper and identifies the biggest impact during the process on the environment and then provides the basis for the technical updates.Eventually, the article quantified the total amount of environmental impact of Tralin Paper. The amount of the Global warming is1765.58kg, and the acidification is5.72kg and then the eutrophication is4.202kg. Of all, the pulping and papermaking process have done the greatest impact on the environment. This is the opportunity to promote the technologies and improve the environment. So it’s recommended to promote the Tralin mode, proceeding from the two processes. In this article, the main innovation point is mainly concentrated on the following aspects:(1)The topics of this article combines the life cycle assessment and straw-paper making process together. Processors’ research on the life cycle assessment and comprehensive utilization of straw is mainly focused on straw biogas and straw power generation. In this paper, the life cycle assessment is applied to the straw-paper making process.(2)This is the first time that the Ebalance software is applied to the life cycle assessment and the environmental impact assessment.
