Corn is the largest grain crop in China, corn planting occupies an important position in China's grain production. With the progress of science and technology, crop yield per unit area has been significantly increased, and the by-product yield of crop cultivation represented by corn straw has reached a high level.Due to the continuous improvement of living standard of urban and rural residents in China, rural areas have changed the habit of using crop straw as household heating and cooking fuel.Huge straw resources are facing the situation of idle waste, the phenomenon has caused waste of resources and pollution of ecological environment.Straw resources are important biomass energy sources and have broad prospects for development and utilization. The resource utilization of straw is a rational use of biomass energy, which can effectively solve the current rational use of fossil energy as non-renewable energy, and the depletion of non-renewable energy represented by fancy energy. It is a good way to achieve agricultural material recycling, sustainable agricultural development, and resolve current conflicts between population, resources and environment.Songyuan City is situated on the world's three gold maize belts.Maize planting has the characteristics of wide distribution and large area.It is one of the main cities of maize production in Jilin Province and even in the whole country. The total annual yield of maize is over 5 million tons, and the reserves of maize straw resources are very rich.At present, the main ways of utilization of maize straw in Songyuan City are direct returning to the field, biomass fertilizer, industrial fuel, biomass power generation, biomass feed and biomass base material. The utilization of straw has some outstanding problems, such as poor effect and low efficiency.Pollution waste of burning and idle waste of straw still exists in most areas of Songyuan City. There for,in order to enable more farmers to adopt the corn stalk resource utilization method, improve the utilization efficiency of corn stalk resource utilization in Songyuan City, and explore the main factors affecting the decision of farmers' corn stalk resource utilization.Based on the related decision science theory and sustainable development theory, this paper designs questionnaires based on the principle of purpose, conformity and data availability, and takes the analysis and research as the core to deeply analyze the decision of farmers' straw resource utilization in Songyuan City about influencing factors and existing problems. This paper uses 411 data, which is derived from the survey of 30 administrative village farmers who are under the jurisdiction of the third line and one city of Songyuan City. From the basic characteristics of farmers, the characteristics of land management scale, the income of farmers' households, the utilization conditions of straw resources, and the awareness of straw resource utilization,we selected 21 indicators of influencing factors. After statistical analysis of the survey data,a binary logistic model analysis was carried out to finally find out 9 factors that influence farmers' decision-making.Based on the analysis of the survey results,6 suggestions for promoting the utilization of straw resources in Songyuan City were put forward: 1.Strengthen the propaganda and training of straw resource utilization;2.Develop resource-utilizing technologies with high feasibility;3.Guide the grassroots village cadres play an exemplary role;4,promote the prosperity and development of the straw resource utilization industry;5.Develop of agricultural production above the scale of operation;6.Improve the construction of the straw resource utilization policy system.
