Stainless steel valve core is widely used in a variety of servo valve, the quality of surfacehas great influence on the lifetime and reliability of the servo valve. At present, Dalianuniversity of technology has achieved good results using the ordinary honing to processstainless steel valve core, but the efficiency of the ordinary honing is low and chocking-upeasily and it also appears the phenomena of chatter and noise, which results in the limit of theapplication of this precision processing technology. With regards to this, the paper proposes aprocessing method that applying power ultrasonic vibration honing to replace ordinary honing.Based on the theoretical research of the power ultrasonic vibration honing, designed theresonance system of the outer cylindrical power ultrasonic vibration honing and derivedfrequency equation of the resonance system, particularly proposed the new method to designbending vibration disc based on the theory of moderately thick plate, which promotes theapplication and promotion of the power ultrasonic vibration honing technology.The main researching work of the paper and its conclusions are as following:(1) This dissertation studied the working principle of outer cylindrical power ultrasonicvibration honing and analyzed its kinematics characteristic; Based on the model of the totalnumber of dynamic active grains on the whetstone, this dissertation established the singlegrain grinding force model and material removal model of the outer cylindrical powerultrasonic vibration honing, which lays the foundation for the further study of outercylindrical power ultrasonic vibration honing mechanism.(2) This dissertation designed the key components of the resonance system of the outercylindrical power ultrasonic vibration honing, and used the finite element method to test andverify the rationality of the designed parts size, particularly proposed the new method to design bending vibration disc based on the theory of moderately thick plate; By comparingbending vibration disc of different size found that bending vibration disc of diameter of58mmhas higher design accuracy, which is in accord with selecting the bending vibration disc ofdiameter of58mm in the test, which verifies superiority of designing bending vibration discbased on the theory of moderately thick plate.(3) Based on the vibration mode of bending vibration disc、horn and flexible rod-whetstone seat vibration system, combined with the corresponding boundary conditions, thisdissertation deduced the frequency equation of the resonance system of the outer cylindricalpower ultrasonic vibration honing; This dissertation made the finite element simulationanalysis of the resonance system of the outer cylindrical power ultrasonic vibration honingusing ANSYS finite element simulation software, showed that the optimal frequency is20039Hz, coinciding with the theoretical design frequency20000Hz, which verifies therationality of the designed components size of the resonance system.(4) This dissertation compared the common process of improving the surface lubricity,concluding that the process of outer cylindrical power ultrasonic vibration honing is better;This dissertation discussed the formation mechanism of plateau cross hatch and analyzed theeffect of the micro-structure surface geometry of plateau cross hatch and surface roughness onlubricating properties; The results showed that micro-structured surface geometry and surfaceroughness have an optimal range to obtain the best lubricating effect, while the value too largeor too small will lead to poor lubrication.
