In recent years, the increasingly serious atmospheric pollution problem hasaroused strong concern. Industrial waste gas is the main cause of atmosphericpollution. As a result, the realistic demand of how to purify the industrial waste gashas led to the rise of atmospheric purification trade. In order to determine whether thepurification requirement has been satisfied and the working state is normal or not,devices applied to purify the industrial waste gas needs to obtaining the purificationeffect in time. Consequently, the design of an environmental monitoring system withcapacity of toxic gas detection in industrial waste gas concentration to timely knowthe degree of gas purification is very important to improve the level of air pollutioncontrol.The thesis is to develop a multifunctional environmental monitoring system,which is suitable for the situation of unevenly distributed gas concentration andchanges in the external environment parameters. It is also capable of measuringconcentrations of SO2and NO2in industrial waste gas, as well as to provideinformation of temperature, humidity and other related information. The mainresearches are as follows:1. A multi-sensor integration method is proposed to meet the requirements ofsystem application environment. And according to this method, the detection node isdeveloped. On this basis, the detecting node and wireless communication network areintegrated to achieve the remote control of the system;2. The measurement and control software of system is developed, including thesignal acquisition and processing program, communication program and the centercontrol platform software;3. According to the actual application requirements, a portable work box with atemperature control device is designed;4. Relevant research experiments and verification experiments are carried out.The results show that the system can overcome the influence on its performance fromtemperature changes outsides and the influence on its measurement result fromunevenly distributed gas concentration.
