This paper utilizes the new type of green environmental protection method insynthesis of ester compounds. The method avoids adding catalysts due to the slowreaction rate in traditional esterification reaction. At the same time, more noveloxidation method is used to synthesize amides and their derivatives in place of the useof strong acids, heavy metals that could pollutethe environment. The first and second part of this paper adopts catalytic oxidation using calcium, magnesium metal salts as lewis acids, alcohol as solvent, and ester hydrogen peroxideas oxidant. The optimization of reaction condition showed that when employbenzaldehyde as a substrate, calcium, magnesium salts (10%mol) as catalystsrespectively,4equivalent hydrogen peroxide as oxidant, heating at65℃in4mLalcohol solvent and afford the best yield. The substrates bearing electron-withdrawinggroup such as Br, Cl, NO2, etc have good tolerance. Magnesium salts could give betterresults compared to calcium salts. The third part of this thesis tells the story of bioactive amide compounds and theirderivatives in green organic synthesis. It is also using peroxide-tert-butanol (TBHP)peroxide as oxidant, the advance of this method is metal free, using non-toxic solventcondition and no toxic waste. Aromatic alcohol is used as the substrate, reacted at100℃for16hours, substituted with different functional groups on the benzene ringtolerate well to give good yield of corresponding amides.
