"Five in one" MBD teaching mode which is based on the "scaffolding theory" and "zone of proximal development theory" is a teaching mode developed for the inquiry learning content.The new mode features the combination of education theory and mechanics theory. With the help of students’ initiative in inquiry learning, it is possibility to realize the coordinated cooperation of teachers and learners, so as to maximize the positive role of cognitive factors, psychological and emotional factors in teaching activities. After analysis of the "five in one MBD" teaching model theory, definition of the concept and summarization of the application in the handle technology inquiry experiment teaching, the constituent factors and basic principles of the system were expounded. The aim to optimize the teaching process and enriching classroom culture could be achieved. Therefore,"five in one MBD" teaching model theory achieve on the extension in theory and practice of inquiry teaching model.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part:Starting with analyzing the inquiry teaching model, the background, purpose, rese significance, content as well as method of the paper were expounded.The second part:According to characteristics of inquiry teaching,"five in one MBD" teaching mode’s theoretical basis was descripted and analyzed in more detail.The third part:The " five in one MBD" teaching mode’s ontological concept including the mode of development, system, teaching principles, strategies, evaluation system was emphasized,The fourth part:The "five in one MBD" teaching model was applied to the handheld technology inquiry experiment teaching. In some representative cases, data processing and model evaluation were included.The fifth part:After doing fully research, the application value of "five in one MBD" teaching mode was analyzed and summaried. Meanwhile, the development of the theory and practice were discussed.The sixth part:Appendix content that consists of the preparation of handheld technology experiment cases, was used to association retrieval.
