Based on the summary of research results and progress of slope stability analysismethods, the slope stability was analyzed by the strength reduction method,including the working step stability, slope section stability and overall stability.Besides,the reliability analysis is another hot spot of slope engineering analysis,onthe basis of numerical simulation, combined with the Monte Carlo method,thisthesis made a reliability analysis for slope stability、statistical analysis of the resultsand reliability evaluation.This thesis mainly achieved the following results and understanding:1、Through the study of the basic principles of finite difference methods,as wellas strength reduction FLAC3D own improvements, the improved strength reductionwas applied to study the Mohr-Coulomb criterion and slope instability criterion, anddifferent rock material parameters impact on slope stability calculation were studied.Identified the main factors of the calculation results are cohesive force and angle ofinternal friction.2、The basic situation of open-pit slope engineering was analyzed, includingopen-pit mining ultimate slope angle, rock conditions, groundwater conditions,slope section case, this thesis selected the appropriate rock material parameters tomake the numerical simulation of the working step stability, slope section stabilityand overall stability, using strength reduction to calculate, the results obtainedproved that the slope is stable on the whole.3、The basic principles and methods of reliability analysis were studied in thisthesis, getting a certain understanding and awareness of the various methods, usingstrength reduction with Monte Carlo ideas to analyzes slope reliability, mainly builtby FLAC3D FISH language. Reliability analysis has considered the variability of thematerial parameters, the results of the safety factor calculation was same as theresults of the numerical simulation, which providing another idea for the analysis ofrock slope. 4、Combined with simplified Bishop method, numerical simulation andreliability analysis, finally confirmed that the slope under its own weight stress canbe basically stable, but in the exploitation of the mine blasting, the slopedisplacement still need to be closely monitored to guarantee its stability.
