YanChang petroleum group XingHua co., LTD has built new equipment with annual production volume of300000tons of methanol and300000tons of synthetic ammonia under the needs of the long-term development of enterprise. This project used multiple slurry gasification technology patent of northwest chemical research institute to produce the feed gas used for the production of synthesis of methanol and ammonia. The purpose of this paper is to study the key equipment——gasification stove by three aspects:strength calculation、 welding technology research and existing problems solving.Firstly, based on the structure characteristics of gasification stove (Discontinuous construction) to select strength research object, boundary conditions are established. Secondly, numerical calculation model is created using the finite element method.Thirdly, the detailed stress and strain of weak parts are acquired using ANSYS software after the mesh generating.Fourthly,the stress is classified for strength evaluation by the means of analysis design method.Fifthly,stress calculation results indicate that some local fields generate high local stress and strength evaluation results indicate that the strength of the gasification stove satisfies the requirements.Based on the gasification stove material characteristics (High strength thick plate) and equipment manufacturing capacity and experience of the main domestic coal chemical equipment companies, this paper focuses on the welding of high strength thick plate used for gasification stove (SA387Gr11CL2) included the reasonable selection of manual arc welding and submerged arc automatic welding as well as the advantages and disadvantages of all kinds of welding methods、the selection of surfacing welding technology and the selection of heat treatment method. Then, the welding parameters of high strength plate SA387Gr11CL2are acquired. High quality of welding in the process of gasification stove production can be obtained using the welding parameters given by this paper.In addition, this paper analyzes and studies some main problems existed in the course of gasification stove designing and producing and the guiding significance to the solutions are proposed.Especially, the working life of burner which is the key component of gasification stove is analyzed and studied that put forward the main reasons and solutions to extend the working life of burner. The burner structure given by this paper can extend the working life of burner which is of high application value.
