| For EPS foam and plastic products’s cutting, the method of artificial is mainly adopted. Because of the limitation of material performance, batch size, etc, the CNC cutting machine that applied to cut the plastic fiber is few.The efficiency of the method of artificial slice is very low, and its cost is high.CNC laser cutting machine has the characteristics of fast cutting speed and high precision, but it’s very expensive, so this machine applies to the sheet which needs high precision only.CNC high pressure water jet cutting machine is suit for cutting any materials, and it’s a environmental cutting way. It has the advantage of high precision and little hot deformation, but its cutting speed is slow and cost high. Although both of them could improve the production efficiency to a certain extent, the high cost makes it unrealistic to apply to cut the plastic products.Therefore, it has a great significance to find a new cutting way to promote the development of the fiber material slice technology. The heating wire could cut the EPS material quickly, and the incision is flat. In this paper, the3d modeling of hot wire cutting machine is designed through Solidworks and PLC programming. This machine could realize the three stepper motor coordination movement effectively and cut the materials according to forecast. In this paper, two kinds of the man-machine interface are used to control hot wire cutting machine. One interface using TK6070IK3touch screen to realize man-machine interface control, the other one control the hot wire cutting machine through LABVIEW programming in PC.The temperature of the heating wire is controlled by incremental PID. The incremental PID temperature control program was written by Lab VIEW to keep the temperature at a constant. The cutting efficiency is high by using this constant temperature to cut EPS plastic fiber.The experiment showed that the heating wire cutting machine can complete the cutting of plastic products and the cutting effect is good. |
