Coal as a fossil energy,is the foundation of Chinese energy,it occupies a large proportion in energy system.At present,coal almost occupies 66% in Chinese primary energy.In this condition,it will be very important to utilize the coal energy effectively and understand the mechanism of the chemical reaction in the combusting process.And also the research on the choice of the experimental equipment and the design of the control system become very significant.In this paper,a high speed temperature control system based on LabVIEW is designed and implemented.The Wire Mesh Reactor in this paper,was invented by Imperial College and improved by Tsinghua University,it is better in experimental components installation and heating stability.The hardware of the system is the PCI 8192 control board which is based on PCI bus protocol,K type thermocouple as the temperature sensor,LYR thermocouple temperature transmitter as the signal acquisition equipment,power regulator as the heating input device,PC as the operating and parameter setting device.The software of this system is developed based on LabVIEW software.The system program achieved function such as communication by PCI 8192,display real-time curve and so on.The problem including Pre-test preparation procedures,Data collection procedures,Data filtering processing procedures,PID control procedures,Control output procedures,End processing procedures.In the part of control method research and experiment vertification,increment PID control method is used,and in this part the basic knowledge of the digital control system and direct digital control system is introduced.Subsequently,position PID control and incremental PID control.are described: Incremental PID is selected after experiments and comparison.Integral limit and integral separation are used to improve the control effect.Then the low speed and high speed heating experiments were realized on LabVIEW platform.By comparison,we can found the high speed heating control is not good enough by this way.Based on the result of the experiment,the optimization and improvement of the system control mode was started.In the 6th chapter of this paper,Expert PID method was used in the research of improved control method.In order to simulate the new control method,the transfer function of the system was identified by system identification.After operating the simulation experiment,Expert PID control method was proved.Then the real test was carried out on LabVIEW platform,the high speed heating test results were better than Incremental PID control effect.The improvement of control method was successful.
