Waste plastics have caused many problems such as environmental and resource issues with the rapid growth in production and consumption of plastic products. Although the method of fuel oil from waste plastics has been researched by many researchers, there are still some problems. The main purpose of this paper is to realize the recycling of waste plastics. Firstly, the physical and chemical properties and composition of the plastic pyrolysis oil, obtained by industrial equipment cracking plastic using the method of chemical cracking were analyzed. The results showed that waste plastics cracking oil consists mostly of the alkenes and aromatics, the content of wax was as high as25%. Pyrolysis oil also contains a certain amount of high boiling point compounds, concluding asphaltene, colloid, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. Secondly, the cracking method and process of three typical plastics of high density-polyethylene, polypropylene and polystyrene were discussed, by experimental research, and the effects of reaction temperature, reaction time and catalyst on the cracking process were researched. Finally, exploration and research on the mixed plastics (PE> PP^PS) pyrolysis to manufacture polymer wax and styrene monomer were carried out, polymer wax and styrene monomer in2000-4000molecular weight were obtained through the process, and a good cracking process and method of good economical and environmental benefits, were summed up.
