Scraper is a main kind of earthwork construction in underground mining and tunnel engineering. It is indispensable in modern mechanized construction equipment and plays an important role in the engineering construction. As the poor working conditions in underground mines, the safety of people and vehicles are affected by the scrapers braking performance directly. The efficiency and stability of operation are affected too. There are a few papers focused on the scraper’s hydraulic brake system currently. Most reports only had a general review and theoretical research, but rarely in-depth study. Aims at these problems, the research on the hydraulic brake system is of great significance. This article took CY922-D-type scraper hydraulic braking system as the research object, theoretical analysis, simulation modeling and numerical simulation were comprehensive used to study the hydraulic brake system systematically, the main research work is as follows:On the basis of research on the detailed analysis of working principle of CY922-D-type scraper hydraulic braking system, the key components of the braking system in parallel with dual brake accumulator and operating characteristics of specific were analyzed, and simplify the break system, according to the dynamic characteristics of breaking system, the mathematical model of simplified system was established.According to the mathematical model, the hydraulic AMESim simulation platform was used to establish the simulation model of key components in parallel dual break valve HCD and simulation model of hydraulic brake system. According to the key components of the braking system, the simulation parameters have been set, to ensure the accuracy of the simulation results. The research focus on the braking performance of different braking system conditions, the safety of single circuit and the influence of key element parameters on dynamic characteristics of breaking system, and the simulation results were analyzed. The results showed that the hydraulic brake system was safe, reliable and had an excellent dynamic characteristics; initial accumulator pressure on the brake spring, the stiffness of the return spring, brake piston and the brake cylinder volume diameter had significantly influence on the pressure response of the braking system.The scraper in the process of practical work, due to there appears the phenomenon of the oil temperature of the breaking system is too high, two kinds of improve measures have been put forward on the original break system and the feasibility analysis was conducted, to provide certain reference for the improvement of breaking system.
