Research On Environmental Justice And Environmental Risk Acception

In recent years, NIMBY environmental conflicts show a rising trend caused by pollution facility location in our country,which poses a serious challenge to our social stability. Therefore, to explore the essence of environmental conflicts and management strategy is one of the important subjects faced by academic fields. In this paper, we take the Field Research of the four L villages in Hubei province to understand the influence of villiagers’environmental risk acception caused by Environmental Justice and trust and use the method of mathematical statistics to do the empirical test of the relevant hypothesis. Based on this, we put forward the main countermeasures of NIMBY conflicts management, which has important meaning for harmonious society construction.This paper is divided into five chapters:The first chapter:The introduction. Including the research background, research purpose and significance, literature review and research design, etc.The second chapter:Theoretical basis. This paper involves four basic theory:The Theory of Risk Perception, The Theory of Citizen Participation,The Theory of Trust and Theory of Rational Action.The third chapter:A descriptive analysis of environmental justice, trust and environmental risk acceptance. From three aspects Environmental Justice,Trust and environmental risk perception,the Descriptive analysis concluded that Lack of environmental justice; Low degree of system trust; Environment risk perception unscientific,Poor environmental risk communication and Low risk acceptance of facilities.The forth chapter:An empirical analysis of the environmental justice and environmental risk acceptance. Through the factor analysis, single factor analysis, the mediation effect test found that:In the factors of extraction, environmental justice and trust have significant influence on environmental risk acceptance; In the inspection of mediation variable, trust has a partial mediation effect in the relationship between environmental justice and environmental risk acceptance.The fifth chapter:Conclusion and Suggestions. According to the above analysis, we summarize the conclusions and give the relevant countermeasures and suggestions: Strengthen the propaganda education for enhancing the level of risk cognition; Perfect the risk communication for setting up the communication platform between the government and the public; Maintain Environmental Justice for ensuring fair site selection process; Build trust mechanism for ensuring effective implementation of location decisions; Adherence to the technical standards for the establishment of facilities operational supervision mechanism.
