Drilling pump, also known as mud pump, is one of three parts of the rig,the rig’s "heart ". During drilling, drilling pump plays rinse the bottom of the well, carrying cuttings and cool the drill bit and reinforcement of role of the borehole wall.The rapid development of economy need higher demands to the pump. It mainly about the pressure of the pump is higher and higher, the power is bigger and bigger, while the volume is not too large and the weight not too heavy weight. At present, the triplex reciprocating is widespread used. Although the triplex pump pressure and flow to meet the basic needs on the needs of modern drilling, there are main problems existing drilling pump:large drilling pump weight,so it is difficult to adapt to the requirements of convenience, restricting the rig’s mobility. the mechanism of pumps unreasonable, stiffness of some parts is insufficient and low reliability, so it is difficult to meet the high reliability requirements of the rig. Thus. in particular, the need for a new pump which has the characteristics of large displacement, light weight, small size, and small pressure fluctuations. Vertical drilling six-cylinder single-acting pump with cylindrical cam mechanism which has special profile curve instead of traditional crank mechanism can achieve uniform flow, pressure fluctuation rate is small and the small pulsating movement of traffic, compared with the traditional type of reciprocating pump, the pump has the characteristics of simple structure, small size and light weight.1640kW six-cylinder single-acting vertical drilling pump’s maximum displacement reached77.6L/s, and the maximum pump pressure reached51.77MPa, while, the preliminary calculations and structural planning indicate that, compared with the same power triplex pump,1640kW six-cylinder single-acting vertical drilling pump’s quality is reduced by about30%, and only70%of the volume of about the same power triplex pump.Subject meet the high-power, large displacement, theoretical constant flow and more drilling for of1176kW vertical six-cylinder single-acting pump power end to carry the same power drilling pump lightweight two performance based on the analysis and design. First analysis of the trends and the need for the development of a high-power and constant flow of drilling pump, and drilling of a1640kW vertical single-acting pump works and overall structure is introduced. Through the displacement of the pump power end, pump pressure and power the end characteristic parameters, determine the eccentric indexing cam profile curve of the pump power end, and determine the statics and dynamics calculations.Then, determine the basic parameters of drilling pump, get7group of design parameters and select the second group to designed a six-cylinder single-acting1640kW vertical drilling pump power end. The use of Pro/E drilling pump power end parts of3D modeling and assembly, and kinematics simulation of drilling pump, designed to evaluate institutions rationality; Using ANSYS software to analyze the main parts of the pump power end statically and dynamically to further validate the reasonableness of the design. The design can provide a theoretical reference for the design and optimization of the vertical pumps which have high power and pressure performance.
