Fluorescent probe has the advantages of good selectivity, high sensitivity and easy to operation. Therefore, it is very widely used in the ion detection and the neutral molecule detection. In the recent years, scientists focus on design and synthesis the new fluorescent dye which has higher efficiency and special detectability. As a new fluorescent dye, BODIPY has the ability which the traditional fluorescent dye does not possess, such as good light stability, high absorption efficiency. However, BODIPY has the same shortcoming as other traditional fluorescent dyes, like bad water-soluble. Nanomaterial is a new material. Different nanomaterials have different chemical properties. Silica is a new nanomaterial, with good light stability and non-toxic. In the article, we modified the BODIPY to change its nature. We synthesized a nano fluorescent BODIPY dye to change the nature of the organic fluorescent dye BODIPY.In the first chapter we had a description on how the BODIPY was discovered. We described the fluorescent dye basic knowledge, the BODIPY research progress, and the mechanism of the BODIPY.In the second chapter we synthesized a new difluorobordiaza-s-indacenes (BODIPY) which was modified by connecting to colloidal silicon dioxide and diethyl iminodiacetate. By this way, we can detect it in the aqueous solution.In the third chapter we also synthesized a new difluorobordiaza-s-indacenes (BODIPY) which was modified by connecting to nickel nano silica. We can detect its magnetic property in the aqueous solution. We can change its magnetic property.
