For the increasing complex market environment in the generation side, the power generation enterprises in China are facing the increasing cost pressures and more severe supply-demand situation, the generation enterprise marketing risk environment is becoming significant in the this circumstances. Therefore, the research on the accurate risk identification, effective risk management, prevention of the loss and to decrease the impact of the loss is important and necessary. Meanwhile, the identification of the key market/marketing risk and the generation corporation risk management has the significant influence on the development of power generation enterprises. Hence, this this focused this area and studied the risk factor in the power generation enterprise. For the larger difference of the power generation type, the marketing risk is divided into three types-the Thermal Power type, the Hydro Power type and the New Energy Power type firstly. A total of47different risk factors are identified base on analysis on the internal and external risks in the power generation enterprise. Secondly, the interpretive structural model is employed to describe the hierarchy structure of the power marketing risk factors under the new condition. The relationships between the risk factors in different levels are described and the risk factors are divided into the source risk, the process risk and the final risk. The multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to quantify the power marketing risk in the following section. Finally, the corresponding risk control measures for the source risks, the process risks and the final risks are suggested base on the analysis results of the practical power plants.
