In recent years, Shenyang is creating garden city actively, green construction input is great, the areais vast. Both ecological function and plant landscape creation are being fully upgraded. Through thesurvey of Shenyang’s plant resource and the analysis of plant landscape in autumn and winter, thearticle explores the plant landscape configuration mode reflecting geographical landscape features inautumn and winter, then the paper concludes the principle and strategy which are suitable for the plantslandscape construction in autumn and winter of Shenyang.This thesis investigates those garden plants with ornamental value in winter by using the methodssuch as: field survey, data searching, experts soliciting. The plant resource that can be used inShenyang’s autumn and winter is rich, the autumn foliage plant species are over30kinds, the autumnfruit-effect plant species are over24kinds. There are also45kinds of deciduous trees with beautifulbranches and20kinds of evergreen needle-leaved plants, all these plants can be used for posturewatching in winter.The dissertation chooses the plant landscape material pattern proposes on nativetrees, supplemented with introduced plant species.The paper uses school of psychology’s landscape evaluation theory to design a public aestheticevaluation method.
