Under the circumstances of association between provinces, regional power grids and even the whole nation, the connection of inter-provinal power grid as well as regional power grids continues to strengthen so that the large scale exchange of power or electric quantity is becoming more frequent. Therefore it gives rise to the wheeling services of large amount electricity. While a wide range of optimal distribution of resources and wheeling power brings social benefits to the power system and users, it increases the loss of the wheeling network, which leads to the great concern of the electricity market parties and researchers.However, there is no a common and unanimously approved by electricity market in the aspect of loss allocation method research.On the basis of summarizing existing passing-through loss allocation method research results, this paper has done further researches on the problem of the losses assigned to the generation buses being always much greater. According to the principle of our country that all the electricity users are responsible for loss allocation, a novel improved Z-BUS method was put forward in this paper. Power flow tracing method is used to allocate the generation buses loss allocation to load buses with second loss allocation. And also the paper came up with second loss allocation using the composite nodes of the power flow tracing method, making up for the weakness of the Z-BUS method. The concept of and mixed generator nodes and mixed load nodes were introduced to power flow tracing method in second loss allocation,which solve the problem of unreasonable allocation of composite nodes in the power flow tracing method. It can effectively eliminate the effect of reactive power flow to active loss allocation by the method of the difference of twice power flow tracing allocation results getting involved. At the same time, it could bring the advantage of the loss allocation results getting rid of the impact of the tracing object. Throuth the improved method of this paper, it effectively solves the problem of the losses assigned to the generation buses being always much greater.IEEE30bus system simulation was adopted to calculate and analy passing-through loss allocation of regional power grid. The results show that the proposed method in this paper can overcomes Z-BUS method shortcoming. Besides, the proposed method can not only meet the principle of payment balance and the principle of our country that all the electricity userss are responsible for loss allocation, but also reflects the effect of the network structure to loss allocation. Therefor, the proposed algorithm is more reasonable and fair.
