This dissertation firstly introduces the background of the hybrid stepping motor drivingcontrol system, and analyzes the stepping motor’s structure, mathematical properties and thepuzzles that traditional control strategies facing in the aspect of motor drive control.Considering the new subdivided algorithm is superior in dealing with the optimization of themotor control system, we apply it into the field of motor control. This dissertation focuses on the subdivided algorithm which has been rapidly developedin recent years and their future research prospect. Combined with author’s practicalexperience, the structure of the stepping motor’s double closed-loop control system isconstructed. At the same time, a kind of improved freewheeling is proposed. By theoscilloscope, the current waveform of the stepping motor’s excitation winding is improvedwell and the effect of operation is perfect. The MATLAB simulation results and thetheoretical results are consistent. Various performance indicators meet the designrequirements. At the last part, the motor-driven software code based on the subdivided algorithm isimplemented by MPLAB IDE; we also draw the motor drive schematic and PCB layout byDesign CIS and PCB Editor. The program code is downloaded by emulator to the controlpanel. Currently, the driving control system has been tested, and the tested wave forms areanalyzed. Experiments indicate that the design of the hardware and the software is reasonableand feasible, the field experimental results show that the program makes the output currentlower, the torque not only higher, but very even uniform and stable in high and low voltage, greatly improve the stepping motor drive performance,so as to achieve the better controleffect.
