The service for delaying flights desperately needs to be improved forboth airlines and airports. Based on the analyses of the current servicesituation, airlines and airports need to improve service platform so thatto optimize service processes and standardize management serviceresources. The main purposes of this thesis are to found a platform tooptimize passenger service when flights delay and to carry out thesisresearch and system building,and especially to solve the standardizationand connectivity of the service data.Firstly, the thesis carries out the demand analysis of the currentservice for delaying flights. Taking the Baiyun Airport as an example,in order to optimize the service, the model and functional requirementsare designed to solve the delaying problems. The platform should firstsatisfy the requirements that establishing a highly efficientnotification of information and communicating mechanism, and it shouldalso work with other service departments to carry out service forpassengers whose flights delay, so that orderly and standardized servicecould be made. At the same time, the capacity of managing the cost ofservice should be equipped with. Only in this way can we know the basicneeds of the platform.Then in the stage of system design and implementation, the platform construction for the various links of passenger service after delayingimproves the capability of system automatically processing, extends theinterfaces with other systems, and forms a unified service platform underthe airport service system, so that it can fully meets the flight groundservice requirements of information sharing, resources opening, unifiedmanagement. The platform also designs the overall framework, functioncomposition, software environment, running environment etc. of the system,and uses the WEB service, ETL which mainly aim at passenger data interfacetechnology to design and implementation.Finally, through the system implementation and testing, and businessmodel evaluation of system usage effect, the research value of this essayis demonstrated. This essay has raised follow-up work prospects, mainlyfocusing on how to optimize the service process, especially in the casethat due to lagging development of airport infrastructure and otherresources, passengers need to wait in line for service in every link. Fromthe thesis, airport should combine the airport passenger service contactpoint with self-service application to solve the problem of serviceintegration, intelligentization and self-support to improve passengers’satisfaction for the delaying flights and save the airport serviceresources and the cost.
