The bucket wheel stacker-reclaimer is widely used in port, metallurgy, coking plant,thermal power plant and so on, loading-unloading materials such as coal and ore. With therapid development of the economy, the more social need, the more automatic andintelligent, especially in the port industry, the bucket wheel stacker reclaimer is to belarge-scale and high efficiency.This paper is based on a specialized coal terminal bucket wheel stacker-reclaimer inJingtang port, analyzing the bucket wheel stacker-reclaimer working principles,production technology and control method, discussing the design flaw in the productionprocess of the bucket wheel stacker-reclaimer, designing the PLC design method. Theoverall optimum design improves the production efficiency and low the cost and energyconsumption, the dust suppression effect is more apparent and automatic. The content ofthis paper has already been successfully applied to the production operation, afterdebugging, gets good effects.The content of this paper have been successfully applied to the actual production,after many debugging and optimization, the stability and reliability of the equipment hasimproved further, work processes and control systems to be more perfect, has achievedgood using effect, bring to the company the considerable benefits. This control systemoptimization design on the improve equipment automation degree and stability has playeda very good demonstration effect.
