| It has been sixty years since the first fiber reinforce plastic (FRP) fishing boatappears in the world. FRP fishing boat with its low resistance, smooth surface,energy-saving, corrosion-resistant and easy maintenance, has become the trend of theworld’s small and medium-sized fishing vessels. It has been over thirty years forresearch and development of FRP fishing boats in china, but the fishing vessel qualityhas not guaranteed. The cause of the current situation is the lack of design andconstruction technology of FRP fishing boats. This article will research FRP fishingboats shiplines of knuckling design and resistance performance. Then the study of FRPtuna longline vessel’s propulsion system on fuel consumption compared the traditionalmethod of propulsion and electric propulsion mode. In the end, it is come out theoptimum economic and environmental benefits of the advancement program.First of all, the paper carries out the parent ship transformation method for thedesign of the new hull form. A suitable hull form was selected as parent ship from thesuccessful foreign fishing hull form data. Then, researching on ship form design forKnuckling FRP Fishing Vessels, according to the principle of the fold angle increasedhull stiffness, the design ship with well resistance performance. The article selects hullsurface flow line as knuckling trajectory in different waterline, and compared itsstiffness, thus getting the knuckle trajectory of the optimal stiffness.Secondly, the resistance of design ship was calculated. This paper selectedShipflow as resistance calculation software. Before the calculation, the software will becarried out verification of the feasibility and accuracy. By calculating the parent shipwith model experimental data, and the results were compared with experimental data.After verifying the feasibility of calculation method, the resistance of design hull formwas calculated. And the result of calculation was back to the ship knuckling design, inorder to optimize the resistance of design hull form. Finally, the design ship with betterstiffness compared to a round bilge hull form, and its resistance properties is good.Finally, there are the study of propeller design and the fuel consumption compareof tuna longline vessel traditional method of propulsion and electric propulsion mode.Thus, analysis the economic and environmental benefits of two modes. |
