According to the metal rubber material stable damping characteristics, advantagessuch as durability, trying to applied in civil engineering energy vibration reductionfield, through the damping equipment material standard static one-way compressiontest and plate metal rubber shear friction damper dynamic performance tests, and thevarious factors in metal rubber damping properties under different conditions, andaccording to the test results of the proposed damper modified dynamic hysteresismodel. Use fixed dynamic hysteretic model damper numerical simulation. In addition,through the LS-DYNA software to a high-rise steel structure model of the vibrationtable finite element simulation verified the equipped with metal rubber damper inenergy consumption device of structure can have good vibration reduction of energyconsumption.The main research contents include the following aspects:First of all, to the metal rubber material specimens for standard static test analysis,observe the destroy form of the specimens, the ultimate bearing capacity anddeformation of the specimens, the different loading surface, different silk size,different relative density of the influence of the factors such as performance.Secondly, metal rubber board type shear friction damper, through the dynamicperformance test study the hysteretic performance, by comparing hysteresis curve andthe loss factor, analysis, metal rubber material outside load characteristics andpreloaded force hysteresis characteristics of damper’s influence.Thirdly, according to the metal rubber shear friction damper on the dynamicalmodeling and the parameter identification, through the existing dynamic mechanicsmodel method and combining with the test data, and by using the modified dynamicmechanics model numerical simulation.Finally, in the above analysis and test, and on the basis of using LS-DYNA finiteelement program, simulation high-level framework structure with or without thedamper under the condition of the dynamic characteristics and seismic response,through the different working conditions of the simulation results of the time historyanalysis, propose the most suitable damper decorate a method, the validation metalrubber shear friction damper of vibration reduction of energy consumption.
