Mixed model assembly line is the most widely used production organization inautomotive industry. In order to reduce costs and improve the products quality, thearticle focus on the logistics equilibrium based on SPS for mixed model assembly inmotor industry, including the assembly scheduling, component selection and thetransmission of logistics information.Firstly, the article constructed the theoretical framework, involving the the SPSdistribution model and balancing production theory. The author analyze thefundamental model and process for SPS, and explain the equilibrium theory, which iscomposed of the contents, the two stages and the maths model. In many occasion, toachieve spare parts consumption rate equalization and working hours equalization arethe two most important goals for the mixed model assembly line. Based on the SPSmodel, the article give the approach how to achieve equilibrium. For the assemblypart, a ranking model is design and considers the components chosen quality, and theauthor use the genetic algorithm to solve the multi-objective model. For thecomponent selection, the author try to improve the selecting efficiency by facilitylayout, implementation of standard operating and eliminatming the waste. For thetransmission of logistics information part, the research focus on the logisticsinformation control mechanism which base on time control and shorten the deliverycycle time.Next, combined with the implementation of lean logistics for a well-knowndomestic automobile manufacturers L Company, the paper succeed to achieve thelogistics equilibrium based on SPS for mixed model assembly. The result showssignificant improvement in degree on time, distribution quality and errors inselection. Finally, the author summarizes the thesis innovation and inadequacies.
