As the rapid development of international economic and trade activities, theinternational air express relying on the advantage of its speed and efficiency, quicklybecame an important part of the international logistics and plays an extremelyimportant role in the supply chain management. The high-speed development of theinternational air express industry brought the growing competition. The industrygiants have also considered new business development as the focus of the sales andmarketing work. Due to the short history of the development, the problems ofinternational air express industry lacks of the theory and practice of marketdevelopment and management began to unravel.In this paper, the use of case study methods, by reviewing the course of developmentof the international air express industry, analysis of current international air expressindustry giants characteristics and development strategy, combined with new businessopportunities through development research, to explore the market development ofthe international air express industry the problem, and to propose solutions to theproblem. This article is a detailed investigation and analysis of many internationallyrenowned courier companies and their development in China, and their developmentstrategy study and dissect, analyze and summarize the different characteristics in thesurvival, development and strengthening of the process of the international expressindustry giants, presents a variety of ways as well as in the market development links.Exploring and establishing new business opportunity pipeline management mode,through the analysis of several key factors in the development of new businessopportunities, pointing out the need to focus on aspects of the sales level in theprocess of development and implementation of new business and problems, meet thedevelopment strategy of the international air express company. Finally, this paper alsodiscusses the success case of new business development, analysis, specific examplesto demonstrate the specific issues in the international air express industry, newbusiness development, and problem-solving processes and programs.
