With the scale of building energy conservation is expanding rapidly andcontinuously improving the requirements, exterior wall thermal insulation materialalsochange rapidlyfor the core of the energy saving.In recent years,due to frequent buildingfire caused by combustion of the heat insulating material, makes the safety of the thermalinsulation material has received more and more attention from all walks of life. In themainstream of insulation materials, organic heat preservation material has so excellentinsulating performance and convenient construction. However it is flammable materialsand has poor safety. Organic-inorganic composite insulation material has good insulationperformance and low production energy consumption. But it belongs to the refractorymaterial, and also has the flame propagation in the event of a fire, so it is also a certaindanger material. Inorganic thermal insulation materialsareincombustible material withhigh security. However it has poor insulation performance, the construction is difficultand it unable to meet the requirements of large area because of the shortage energy.Contradiction of insulation materials with insulation and safety has become an urgentproblem in the field of building energy conservation.So in the precondition of ensuringthe efficient thermal insulation material and improving fire resistance of insulationmaterials is the future development trend of building insulation materials.This text focuses on improving the fire resistance and construction of thermalinsulation mortar.We composite the lightweight aggregate of organic and inorganic on thebasis of organic and inorganic binder composition to prepare thermal insulation mortarwiththermal conductivity in0.065W/m K, combustion properties in A2grade. We selectfour EPS with the Glazed hollow bead to preparethe composite insulation mortar. Weimprove its construction and fire performance by adjust the organic, inorganic lightaggregate volume ratio. And through the volume adjustment emulsion powder, celluloseether, fiber and other additives, improve insulation mortar adhesive, water retention, crackresistance and fire resistance.We check the optimal dosage of organic light aggregate,emulsion powder, celluloseether, fiber etc for Preparing of composite insulation mortar toprovide a reference for our country is currently facing increasing fire insulation materials.Through the experimental study the influence of each component on theperformance of mortar composite insulation. We determine the optimum amount of binder as follow, Cellulose ether in3.3kg/m~3, the crumb rubber powder in1.5kg/m~3,polypropylene fiber in0.2kg/m~3. We determine the admixture components for ordinaryEPS composite insulation mortar as follows:42.5ordinary Portland cement184kg/m~3,theordinary EPS660L/m~3, glazed hollow bead330L/m~3. The self-extinguishingEPS:42.5ordinary Portland cement184kg/m~3, the self-extinguishing EPS792L/m~3, glazedhollow bead132L/m~3. The recycled EPS:42.5ordinary Portland cement184kg/m~3, therecycled EPS1080L/m~3, glazed hollow bead144L/m~3.According to the construction of China’s external wall insulation, and compositeinsulation mortar products, we composite the construction of insulation system facingpaint finishes and brick veneer.
