Reinforced concrete structure because of the long-time used, or structure functionchange and other reasons, the bearing capacity of the structure does not meet therequirements. If rebuild, it will take a lot of manpower, material and financial resources.But for maintenance and reinforcement, it can improve the bearing capacity of thestructure, at the same time to achieve the purpose of saving money and time. So, on thestructure of the reinforcement has become a hot spot in the study of domestic andforeign scholars. Spiral rib steel wire with its high strength, good ability to resist shear,meanwhile prestressed, and improving the bearing capacity of advantage,all theseadvantage makes it become ideal materials for reinforcement. Therefore, this paperputs forward the embedded prestressed concrete beams reinforced with steel wirespiral ribs. the main research work and the conclusions are as follows:(1) This paper introduces the characteristics of the fiber composites and thepresent research status, and the performance of the steel wire spiral ribs and the presentresearch status are discussed briefly in this paper.(2)Through different experimental parameters about concrete strength grade, steelquantity, grooved shape on the10pieces of concrete beams specimens, we do a studyon failure mode and deformation analysis, and experimental results show that,compared to the without strengthened beams, Crack load, yield load and ultimate loadare all greatly improved.(3) The deflection of embedded strengthened concrete beams with prestressedspiral rib steel wire are reduced a lot compared to the beams are not reinforced. Thesecurity and ductility properties of prestressed reinforcement specimens are better thannot reinforced beams. The production and development of cracks have binding forcefor the embedded prestressed concrete beams strengthened, and delay the occurrenceof crack, improve the reinforced beam crack resistance.(4) In this paper, based on the results of tests, I put forward the bearing capacitycalculation formula of the embedded reinforced concrete beams with prestressed steelwire spiral ribs, and the prestress loss, crack, and ductility are all calculated, andcompared with the test results, they match better.
