Engineering structures in service, for some reason, reliability will be reduced. Using the specified method to detect the performance of the material of the structure, to infer structure durability and to check the bearing capacity of the structure is the necessary foundation work for the structure maintenance. It also can provide a theoretical basis for the reinforcement of the structure.In this paper, according to the relevant national standard, the reliability of structure of the hot blast stove system was evaluated. Coring method was used to obtain the foundation concrete specimen in the structure of hot blast stove system and the compressive strength of the concrete was inferred. The method in the standard was used to check the thickness of the concrete protective layer, the impermeability of concrete surface layer、the depth of the concrete carbonization, steel corrosion condition、chloride ion content、the alkali content of concrete, aggregate activity and other quotas. The results show that the strength of concrete meets the design requirements. Steel does not rust and concrete corrosion does not occur. The durability of the concrete keeps good. Weld damage detector was used to detect the weld defects on outer steel wall. Weld damage does not exceed specification requirements. Leeb hardness tester was used to test the hardness of the steel of the steel structure platform beam, then the hardness of the steel was obtained. Checking the carrying capacity of the steel platform beams and columns in accordance with the specification method, the results show that the carrying capacity of the steel platform beamed meet the design requirements. But a problem is found that steel grid plate, maintenance platform plat and individual secondary beam of platform plat rust seriously and it reduces the durability and affects the safe use of the structure. According to the field investigation and test results, the reliability level of the hot blast stove system is three. The reliability of structure does not meet the requirements of the current national norms. The identification results suggest the reinforcement.
