With the development of economy and society, people demand more and morespace on building so that large span structure has been developed rapidly and appliedwidely. The traditional reinforced concrete beam and steel structure have theircorresponding limitations. With the deepening of the study, some people put forward anew structure "the cable-concrete beam system" with lower height of reinforced concretebeam and cable under the cable-concrete structure, in order to achieve larger span andmeet the growing functional requirements. This structure is used in public buildings, civilconstruction and industrial construction, which saves space and increases the load bearingability, it has broad application prospects.Based on the analysis of nonlinear and node of one way cable-concrete beam, thisdissertation studies the static analysis, natural vibration characteristics, and seismiccharacteristics of two-way cable-concrete structure. The conclusions are as follows:1) By using ANSYS which is a large finite element analysis software, static analysisis made of two-way cable-concrete structure and ordinary concrete structure with thesame section and span. The result of the analysis shows that the deflection of two-waycable-concrete structure is decreased significantly, under the same loads. At the sametime, its bearing capacity is more superior. Cracks are reduced and safety is improved.2) Fundamental frequency of two-way cable-concrete structure is smaller, whichindicates that the overall stiffness is weaker and the structure is more flexible. Itsfundamental frequency slightly reduces with the increase of initial stress and reduces withthe increase of rigid rod’s height.3) With the increase of cable’s initial stress, the natural vibration frequency ofstructure increases gradually and stiffness of structure slightly increases; when the spanincreases, the natural vibration frequency reduces, the structure is more flexible, andstiffness is weaker; with the increase of the height of rigid rod, the frequency changeslittle.4) By using time history analysis method, the response analysis of the structureunder earthquake action has been studied. Compared with Tianjin wave, EL-Centro waveof Amercian and Shanghai artificial wave, displacement response of structure is basicallythe same, acceleration response changes essentially consistent, stress reaction is greater atmid-span; as a kind of flexible material, the cable has a larger deformation, strongreaction and instability.
