The long-span cable-stayed-type cable structure is inherited from cable-stayed structure and cable structure, which is with light weight, interior space and wide span, etc. The structure is particularly suitable for the roof section of stadium and gallery. This paper introduces the forms of cable-stayed-type cable structure, which is the new structural system, and conducts a study on the static and dynamic characteristics of the structure.Firstly, this paper describes the concept and composition of cable-stayed-type cable structure and introduces the different forms of the structure. We points out that such structure has three different forms: initial geometry, initial prestressed and load shape and form, and also uses the nonlinear finite element method to solve the three shapes and forms.Under the state of the initial prestressed, the structure is respectively applied full and half covered with cross-loading, to be viewed the structure of the static characteristics. The paper analyzes some parameters which affect the static performance of the structure, which takes into account parameters which including prestress, mast height and span ratio, etc.Based on the basic principles of dynamics, we can solve the structure of the initial prestressed state of the order of the natural frequencies and modes. We discuss the iMPact of the cable area, prestress, mast height and span ratio on the dynamic characteristics of structural system, and obtain the law of structural dynamics characteristics. We use the method of the dynamic time-history to analyze the structure and use the linear filtering method to effectively simulate the fluctuating spectrum of wind speed. We analyze the wind vibration time-history of finite element model, and then get the wind vibration coefficients of structural displacement and internal force. I hope that the content and conclusion of this paper can provide some guidance and reference for structural application.
