Design And Realization Of Embedded Smart Home Control System

With the development of science and technology, and the improvement ofliving level, people’s requirements to living environment are increasingly high.The pursuit to a family with intelligent has increasingly become a hot topic.Smart home control system can integrate all isolated electrical equipments usedin a family, to a smart in some extent family living environment, and improvepersonal daily life.In this paper, a kind of smart control home system based on embeddedtechnology has been designed and realized. In this smart system,3communication modes have been supported, and control a variety of targetequipments became a truth. The home gateway, which is a part of this system,could take a connection with external network through the Ethernet, GPRS andWIFI, have the ability to manage whole this system; terminal controller havelocal controlled and display capabilities, having electricity information metering,lamp and switch controlled, TV, air conditioning and other electrical equipment scontrolled capabilities. Both of these two devices in the system have also containfault alerted and repaired capabilities. The use of power line carrier technology,which would play the role of communication technology in domestic interiornetwork, could help users get a flexible network without wiring.In the beginning of this paper, history of the development of smart homesystem and its research status at home and abroad have been introduced, and alsothe structural model and the key techniques of this system, include the Ethernettechnology, WIFI technology, GPRS technology, power line carrier technologyand the design of internal network and its protocol.And then, it introduced the hardware design of the home gateway and terminalcontroller. In this paper, functions of the home gateway and the terminalcontroller have been analyzed orderly, and then designed the home gateway andcontrol terminal hardware structure according to the functions analyzed before,Moreover, presented circuit design and parameters of all parts of them to readers.At last, as same as hardware design, software designs of home gateway andterminal have been presented after the analysis of their software functions.
