With the progress of urbanization, industrialization and human civilizationprocess since the21st century, the world economy and the level of science andtechnology have continuously achieved leapfrog development. Meanwhile, the limitedresources and environmental carrying capacity of our planet have also been seriouslydamaged. The shortage of resources, the environmental pollution and the ecologicaldeterioration have become global issues concerned by the contemporary people. Therefore we must implement a sustainable development strategy, accelerating thedevelopment of "green economy" and the transformation to it. As one of the mostimportant economic activities, the construction activity has the most direct andobvious impact on the environment. The evaluation, management and control of theresource consumption and environmental factors during the construction are neededfor practicing green construction in order to achieve the sustainable development ofthe construction industry. In the first place, according to the basic principles of ISO14040, this articleapplies the method of LCA to analyze the resource consumption and environmentalpollutant emissions in the construction process, and establishes the life cycleassessment system for the environmental impacts of the green construction.Furthermore, the problem of widespread uncertainty data in LCA considered, we useMonte-Carlo method combined with Crystal Ball to state the inventory analysisresults in the form of the statistical distribution, in order to eliminate the impact ofdata uncertainty and have evaluation results with statistical significance ofenvironmental impacts. Finally, we apply the LCA method to analyze and evaluate theresource consumption and environmental impacts of the construction process of anecological residential area project, the data uncertainty considered. We are able toeventually obtain good simulation results, and present management solutions toupgrade the existing green construction technology.
