Fuel injection system is an important part of diesel power plant. In order to furtherimprove the operational safety and efficiency, diesel engine plant and shipyard hasbeen putting forward higher requirements on the level and depth of maintenanceservice and maintenance processing efficiency to fuel injection system supportingenterprise. Whether the supporting enterprise is able to provide satisfactorymaintenance service to customers or not directly affects its economic benefits, forefficient maintenance service plays an important role in improving the enterprisemarket position and customer satisfaction.However, current manufacturing enterprises of fuel injection system are lack of anenough understanding in the importance of the maintenance management, advancedmanagement means, fine repair management and maintenance decision madeobjectively, which have led to the decline in maintenance work enthusiasm and lowtreatment efficiency among employees, and then a lower customer satisfaction.Therefore, to carry out researches on how to improve service levels, avoid subjectivedecision and increase reasonable and effective evidence when making decision hasimportant practical significance and application value.This paper firstly introduced techniques, methods and research situation at homeand abroad of the fuel injection system maintenance in marine diesel. According to thestructure of the system and its failure mechanism, a maintenance service mode withmaintenance knowledge base to conduct fault diagnosis and repair decision had beenproposed. Through the design of conceptual model as well as the knowledge table ofthe base and the discuss of maintenance strategies decision-making process, it provideda new maintenance management and decision supporting method for the enterprises.Then on the basis of the above research on the maintenance service model, thethesis has designed a maintenance decision-making supporting system. After systemrequirement analysis, the architecture has been given in accordance with the foregoingideas of maintenance service model and further the function model and informationmodel of the supporting system have also been constructed.Finally, the study in the paper was put into practice in a manufacturing enterprise of fuel injection system and has achieved certain effects.
