Fouling, the poor conductor of heat, can reduce heat transfer efficiency,increaseflow resistance, or even lead to corrosion of heat exchanger, which cause great wasteof resources and energy and a series of safety problem. Therefore, anti-fouling tech-nologies are very important to practical application. This article provides the experi-ment result with the ultrasonic wave, electric field and their composite operationbased on existing studies. The research content is summarized as follows:Firstly, by comparing the fouling performance on smooth circle tube surface withand without ultrasonic effect, on on-line monitoring apparatus of fouling resistance,the experiment studies the influence of different water hardness and temperature toultrasonic anti-fouling effect, at the same time, comparing ultrasonic anti-fouling per-formance in28kHz and40kHz, it turns out that28kHz ultrasonic shows higher an-ti-fouling rate at low water hardness, however, at higher water temperature,40kHzultrasonic wave shows no anti-fouling performance while28kHz ultrasonic wave hasthe obvious anti-fouling performance.Secondly, experiment was carried out to investigate the low voltage electronicanti-fouling performance by the effects of hardness, temperature and current. The re-sult shows at the lower water temperature, electronic anti-fouling device has the betteranti-fouling effect at low water hardness and when water hardness is300mg/L andcurrent is0.8A, the anti-fouling rate reaches100%; no matter at low temperature orhigh temperature condition, the anti-fouling rate in0.8A current is better, that is to say,low voltage electronic device will show the better anti-fouling performance with thehigher current.Finally, the experiment studies the ultrasonic wave and electric field compositeanti-fouling performance, which shows when composite anti-fouling performance isbetter than that in ultrasonic wave or low voltage electronic device acting separately,in other words, ultrasonic wave and low voltage electronic device can work togetherwell. At the lower water hardness and temperature, composite performance is stronger.The higher water temperature and hardness is, the lower anti-fouling rate is. With thehigher currency, the anti-fouling rate is higher. In summary, in composite anti-foulingperformance, low voltage electronic acting plays a leading role.
