Water resources of Inner Mongolia are the scarcity。 the Yellow River is as an important source of water of inner Mongolia region, hasing made outstanding contributions to the industrial and agricultural development in the region. How efficient and rational use of the Yellow River water resources has become a key that cracks agricultural development dilemma of Inner Mongolia.High silt content and fine sediment particles of the Yellow River water easily clogged irrigation water hole, which seriously hampered the promotion and application of micro-irrigation projects along the Yellow River region. To this end, many scholars dedicated to this areaand made some valuable scientific research. However, it is extremely difficult for sediments separating from Yellow River, China’s research are still not perfect in this area. Therefore, it is highly necessary to continue research.This paper improves Xiu-Yun Qiu etc invention vertical density current the mixed fluid separation gills. The first stage, the second stage, and the third stage of the apparatus are arranged different the swash plate spacing, which is in order to enable different particle size sediment progressively separated. In addition, structural of the inclined plate sedimentation device are carried out optimization and design-drainage design. With the same velocity conditions, different flow, different sediment concentration, Test measured flow of overflow port and Sand Openings, and sediment concentration and particle size distribution. Studying optimization measures has an effect to water and sediment separation of the device.The main research results are as follows:(1) After the drainage design, the device can promote the flow through the swash plate in accordance with the path design. Sediment sank by desilting tank, and centralized model desilting hole and discharge. The rose water flow and silt sedimentation are isolated in the whole separation and settlement process, which greatly reduce the mutualbetween perturbations.(2) Under optimal combination of parameters, the the overflow particles D50gradually are increased with increasing the flow of traffic, was gradually reduced as the inlet concentration increases.(3) Under optimal combination of parameters, the effect of device’s separation is the best, and the sediment separation rate is over80%up to93%.(4) This paper has an analysis to test sediment settling velocity and to study the swash plate spacing of device the Sedimentation movement characteristics rule.
