One aim of structure design is to give structure the maximum guarantee to ensure structure safety in earthquake and under accidental loading. Especialy to reduce the losses of life and property which are caused by structural collapse. Furthermore the Seismic design of building structures should fully consider guarding people’s life security. Thus, the Seismic design of building structures should firstly be sure to realize the aim of the earthquake resistance capability of building; and then test the seismic aim,’small earthquakes are not bad, shock of repairable, practically diameter’.This article, combined with existing research results, introduced and discussed a series of problems exist in the analysis of structural collapse. Such as collapse analysis, the selection of the seismic inputs, the selection of the intensity index of ground motion and the vibration response metrics of Structure, the criterion of earthquake collapse, the evaluation index of the seismic collapse resistance capacity etc. The Incremental Dynamic Analysis (IDA) which based on the foundation of dynamic time-history analysis and the Pushover Analysis (POA) was applied in the analysis of Sidesway Collapse. As to POA method, this article set ductility factor and over strength factor as evaluation index of the earthquake resistance capability of Structure. POA method was also applied in this paper to study the influence of the earthquake resistance capability of Structure which came from the different side force distribution and stiffness factor of beam to column. As to IDA method, therefore, the collapse ratio of Seismic fragility curves, the Collapse Margin Ratio CMR and the inter-story displacement rotation was set as the validation indicators. Moreover, POA and IDA were applied to analyze the structural parameters’ influence on the earthquake resistance capability of Structure, and to analyze the earthquake resistance capability of the multi-layer ferroconcrete frame structure designed according to codes. This paper mainly included the analysis of multi-layer ferroconcrete frame structure under different seismic intensity and the multi-layer ferroconcrete frame structure based on the minimum requirements of design code.
