With the high development of industry in modern society, more and more production processes need to transport multi-phase fluid medium, therefore mixture transportation technology of multi-phase fluid medium becomes the trend in current transportation area. In this situation, multiphase mixing transmission pump comes into its application.Screw centrifugal pump is a new kind of multiphase mixing transmission pump with characteristics of both the displacement pump and the centrifugal pump. Compared with ordinary centrifugal pump, screw centrifugal pump has a lot of advantages, such as good non-blocking and lossless properties, high efficiency and smooth power curve. Therefore, it has been widely used in industrial field.With the continuous development of modern society, the operating environment requirements of industrial production to screw centrifugal pump are more and more strict. Ordinary screw centrifugal pump made of spiral impeller and volute pressurized water chamber, which can meet the needs of industry to a large extent but can not be widely used in deep underwater areas due to the pump’s structure under certain conditions, for example, where hole diameter needs a small axis size. While the import and export fluid in axial flow pump has met the requirements, the water head is relatively low that it can’t meet the production requirements in many cases.According to the requirements of pump industry and modern industrial demand, this paper proposed to combine the ordinary screw centrifugal pump vane and pressurized water chamber of space guide vane type in order to make the import and export of the fluid in the screw centrifugal pump in a straight line. Thus guide vane screw centrifugal pump comes into being. Its unique structure mixed the advantages of screw centrifugal pump and vane pressurized water chamber, besides, it solved the problem that the head of axial flow pump meeting industrial need is low.Because most transportation medium of screw centrifugal pump is solid and liquid and the density of solid and liquid is different which will lead to different phase producing sliding speed in the operation of mixed transportation. This will not only affect the hydraulic performance of pump but also bring wear and tear due to solid phase accumulation in the surface of the over-flow components. Therefore to explore the internal flow of the solid-liquid two-phase flow in guide vane screw centrifugal pump can provide the effective reference and basis for improving the performance of screw centrifugal pump as well as studying and optimizing the pump.In this paper, the main research contents of the internal solid-liquid two-phase flow condition of guide vane screw centrifugal pump are as follows:1、Numerical simulation of guide vane screw centrifugal pump in the flow passage and water media flow are using FLUENT software, and verification of the reasonableness of the design;2、Numerical simulation and analysis of the internal solid-liquid two-phase flow field of guide vane screw centrifugal pump in5different flows,5different solid volume concentration using FLUENT software, obtaining the impact of different flow and solid volume concentration on the external characteristics and the internal flow field of over-flow components (pressure, speed, solid concentration distribution).3、Contrast analysis of the external and internal characteristics between guide vane screw centrifugal pump and volute screw centrifugal pump is used to obtain the advantages of guide vane screw centrifugal pump and its applicable occasions as well as analyze the wear in its over-flow components.By theoretical analysis and numerical simulation of guide vane screw centrifugal pump, the main conclusions are as follows:1、Numerical simulation to the guide vane screw centrifugal pump of the water in designed conditions obtained the internal flow situation within the over-flow in the water medium and verified that the guide vane screw centrifugal pump design is relatively reasonable.2、The change rules of pressure, velocity and solid phase concentration in each over-flow components of guide vane screw centrifugal pump in different flows but fixed solid phase concentration was obtained through analysis of results of the numerical simulation of guide vane screw centrifugal pump in these conditions.3、The change rules of pressure, velocity solid phase concentration as well as external characteristics of designed flow in different solid volume fraction was obtained through analysis of results of the numerical simulation of guide vane screw centrifugal pump in designed flow and different solid phase concentration in import.4、The flow head curve and axial force as well as radical force of guide vane screw centrifugal pump in different flows and solid concentrations were obtained by numerical simulation. Contrast analysis of the external and internal characteristics of guide vane screw centrifugal pump and volute screw centrifugal pump in fixed solid phase concentration and different flow conditions obtained advantages and the applicable occasions of guide vane screw centrifugal pump and analyzed the wear rules of over-flow components of guide vane screw centrifugal pump.
