The screw centrifugal pump is a kind of new type liquid-solids handing pump whose unique impeller structure combines both the advantages of screw pump and centrifugal pump. Compared with traditional liquid-solids handing pumps, screw-centrifugal pump has a lot of virtues, such as clog-free performance, small abrasion, high efficient operation, longer life, lower operation cost and convenient adjustment.So far, the research about the screw-centrifugal pump is not at the same level as the design of conventional centrifugal pump no matter in theory or in practice, and fewer research has been done in this kind pump's characteristic and inner flow. Thus, it is very significant to model the inner flow condition of this kind of pump to find the factors affecting the pump's performance and supply reference for further search in the flow in this kind of pump and new method of design.The main content of this paper is as follows:1 ,The numerical simulation of the inner flow in the screw-centrifugal pump and the six typical governing equations(S-A, standard k-ε, RNG k-ε, realizable k-ε,standard k-ω, SST k-ω) is discussed.2,The numerical simulation of the three-dimensional interior fluid flow in the screwcentrifugal pump is computed by choosing the different diameter and volumefraction. The distribution of the particle concentration, velocity and total-pressureis analyzed.3 ,Reference information for the improvement of the pump can be obtained by theanalysis of the solid/liquid two-phase flow in the channel of the pump.
