Ethylene Glycol Plant, Sewage Treatment Plant Workshop Noise Comprehensive Control Scheme Design

Based on the concern of employees’ health and working environment forcompany, and on the urgent need of noise control in the world, according to the realproblem of excessive noise of sewage treatment workshop of Jilin petrochemicalcompany ethylene glycol plant, and combining with the specific conditions of the twofactory，the scheme design was compared.Firstly this paper theoretically discussed the harm and measurement of noise,then according to the actual situation the noise sources of the two factory weremeasured and designed. The noise strength and characteirstics and mechanism ofproduction were measured and analysed before abatement.We discovered the maincauses of the noise, and abated the noise by combining the sound insulation plate andthe sound absorbing mateiral，and took half enclosed sound insulation board for themachine motor. By the above noise control measures, we solved the long-termexcessive noise of the nitrogen compressor and blower plant building.
