Xinjiang is located in the hinterland of the Eurasian plate, earthquake-prone, theseismogenic level, poor concentration, poor living conditions. Economic conditions,adobe construction because of its convenient construction, local materials, thermalinsulation properties, still account for a larger proportion of rural residential. Theprevious earthquake damage adobe housing is particularly devastating, given practicalreinforcement and seismic bearing capacity calculation method, the protection of lifeand property security and national historical and cultural heritage protection is ofgreat significance. The adobe wall piece of prime processing wood frame walls withpseudo-dynamic test,and do Numerical simulation under the earthquake waves, thework done and the conclusions reached are as follows:(1) Basic mechanical properties of materials through the soil cylinder test, toobtain the elastic modulus of the soil material, compressive strength and tensilestrength and other mechanical properties.Wall unit test failure characteristics of thewall to determine yield strength. Provide a reference for the pseudo-dynamic test andnumerical simulation modeling.(2) A piece of prime adobe walls and wood frame walls with the pseudo-dynamictest and numerical simulation, comparative analysis of the impact of structuralmeasures on the seismic performance of the wall, through numerical simulationcompared with the pseudo-dynamic test results, adjust the value test modeland failurecriteria to improve the fidelity of the numerical simulation.
