One of the key problems in the design of excavator is how to isolate the vibration transmission between the powertrain and body effectively. In this thesis, vibration isolating performance of the powertrain mounting system has been designed based on the excavator, the following aspects are included:1. The basic theory of the powertrain mounting system has been summarized, including:the function, and layout form of the mounting system, as well as the stimulation analysis of powertrain, and the evaluation index of powertrain mounting system, and the design process.2. By establishing the parameterized simulation with simplify and complex model of powertrain mounting system in ADAMS, and compared with the result in MATLAB, the inherent characteristics and energy distribution have been calculated, and the correctness of the model in ADAMS has been proved.3. Considering the natural frequency distribution of powertrain mounting system, vibration decoupling and vibration transmission rate, the stiffness parameters of the original powertrain mounting system has been optimized, so that optimized powertrain mounting system would have a reasonable good isolating performance.4. The vibration of the prototype has been measured, then the isolating performance of powertrain mounting system has been contrasted between original and optimized one, and the effect of the optimizing design has been verified.
