The truss-transfer-floor structure was developed after other traditional transfer floor structures. Even though there are many advantages, the related theoretical researches are still relatively less. This paper introduces the basic concepts and design principles of the truss-transfer-floor structure. This reaserch is background of a high-rise structure with truss transfer floor, and using the finite element software of Sap2000to build the finite element model. First of all, the basic dynamic characteristic which is the foundation of most structure dynamic analysis has been analysed. Secondly, based on the mode-superposition response spectrum method and elastic time-history analysis separately, the elastic seismic behavior analysis of the structure which acted by horizontal seismic has been made. On the basis of above analysis, vertical seismic action is added to the structure. Then the reaserch of the influence by vertical seismic on the elastic seismic performance can been done with the mode-superposition response spectrum method and elastic time-history analysis method similary. Finally, the nonlinear static analysis of the structure with truss transfer floor has been made based on Pushover method. This part of the study has two purposes. One is to analyze the elatoplastic seismic performance of the structure with truss transfer floor under strong seismic action. The other one is to judge the weak position of the structure according to the distribution and development state of the hinges. The results of this study can be helpful to the design and seismic analysis of the high-rise structure with truss transfer floor.
