Research On Container Water-Rail Combined Transportation Products And Its Transportation Organization

The container amount of water-rail combined intermodal traffic, up to now, has just accounted for less than2%of port container throughput, therefore, there is a big gap when compared with developed countries. In order to update its development, optimize the transport organization structure, the Railway Ministry, together with Transportation Ministry signed the "on jointly promoting the water-rail intermodal development cooperation agreement" in May2011,furthermore,6water-rail combined intermodal transportation channels demonstration projects were decided in2011.10,speciflcally,which includes Dalian to the Northeast regions, Tianjin to North China, northwest, from Qingdao to Zhengzhou and areas along the LongHai channel, from LianYun port to the areas along the Alashankou channel,from Ningbo to the East China areas, Shenzhen, South China and Southwest regions. As the bond connecting railway and waterways, as well as the shippers and transport sectors, the transportation organization quality of water-rail combined intermodal transportation influence railways and ports directly, in terms of coordination, mutual interests, and the sound development of integrated transportation system.Firstly, the thesis clarifies the definition of water-rail combined intermodal transportation product in terms of the narrow and broad senses, presents the current situation of the water-rail combined intermodal transportation at home and abroad, as well as the water-rail combined intermodal transportation products. The needs of sea-rail intermodal is determined by the transport chain sharing model, after the collection and distribution system analysis of railway, waterways containerized cargo, ports, based on the needs analyzed, the thesis designs one-stop direct container trains, container transshipment with five fixed terms,containersmall-distanced transshipment trains, container intercity trains,etc.Secondly, the thesis studies the transportation organization of water-rail combined intermodal transportation in2aspects, on one hand, it studies the process and the channel capacity of water-rail combined intermodal transportation in terms of the broad sense, on the other hand, in the eyes of railway, the thesis ascertains the operation plan related parameters and transportation organization at stations, which provides references for the container water-rail combined intermodal transportation. Finally, taking the container water-rail combined intermodal transportation from Ningbo to East China as example, the thesis figures out the operation plan from Wenzhou to Ningbo in the wake of the analysis of the channel situation and freight transport requirement, the thesis ends with concrete measures to boost the Ningbo container water-rail combined intermodal transportation.
