Zoom microscopes have begun to be extensively used for their versatility. Stereo continue zoom microscopes have got incessant development as one important type of microscopes. In system, field lens is the most important part, it direct decide the zoom range of system. Many countries have large numbers of research on the system, Japan has design largest continue zoom range from0.75x to11.25x named SMZ1500. But only a little article about high-magnification in zoom stereo microscope objective system designing is reported in our country. So research on this system designing has much magnetism.This paper focus on high-magnification zoom stereo microscope objective designing. In order to get a good design, characteristic of system structure is analyzed firstly. Then, the paper analyses the design of zoom telescope which is the key component in the system. Based on the analysis, the paper gives a design of high-magnification continue zoom telescope lens, this design not only gives guidance for high-magnification zoom stereo microscope objective design, but also gives reference for high-magnification continue zoom lens design.At last, all kinds of zoom lens are analyzed and counted first, then the paper adopts new methods in zoom lens designing with two linkage moving lends groups. By choosing6positions of zoom position for the design and calculation, the example has achieved the continuous zoom of0.8x-16x (20:1) stereo microscope objective system. The system adopts3moving lens groups and the Curves of component moving are velvet. From MTF and ray aberration of the system, the results show that this continuous zoom stereo microscope objective system has the characteristics of high magnification, and the imaging quality high. This system gives a large number of experiences in high-magnification zoom stereo microscope objective system designing.
